Hi,
I'm radish!
Founded prior to 2014, Franklin High School's Garden Club thrives.
With four separate gardens (the greenhouse, the English, botanical, and rock gardens), members of Garden Club cultivate plants (trees, flowers, and food)! In addition, members learn to properly weed, (uprooting the unwanted plant from the roots) and take part in maintaining our compost pile.
The Greenhouse
The greenhouse area consists of the planting beds, the white, plastic greenhouse, the compost, and the newly-added shelf.
Our planting beds are full of plants, like sugar snap peas and radish
Inside the greenhouse, we have even more plants!
Our Compost! After five months, these leaves are beginning to look like dirt!
On the new shelf, we place potted plants. Here a slightly dehydrated sugar snap pea plant is on display.
